For a long time the restaurant has been a reference point for local gastronomy, well-known nationally and beyond. With our new management, we aim at re-discovering the tastes of our past, through the dishes that our chef suggests. All products used are of top quality and are combined in order to recall the atmosphere of the mountains all around.

The menu includes cjarsons (peculiar local ravioli), handmade pasta, polenta and frico, wild-game, mushrooms, local cheeses and cold-cuts, mountain ricotta cheese and many more. A wide variety of wines completes the offer.

Our guest can choose to have lunch/dinner in one of the three rooms available:
1. Ground-floor room with fireplace
2. Cosy room with traditional fireplace
3. Tavern

The tavern is perfect also for group-dinners, tastings and private feasts.

Thanks to the new management, the old Osteria Cimenti, a historical meeting place for those coming to Carnia, is now back to its exquisite hospitality, which was once famous for. In a multiplicity of areas where to dine, have lunch or simply relax, you will find traditional dishes, bounded to the periodicity of products, a refined choice of wines and a warm welcome, which will make you feel at home. The small apartments allow total independence for those who wish so.
